January 2010 is in the books and I can say with a lot of confidence 2010 is going to be a better year than 2009 for many of us (Thank God, I know). Let’s not live in the past or dwell on it – look forward and embrace 2010 as “your year” to make things happen and go for it with all of your being.

To all of you who are still looking for work with our actual national unemployment rate probably somewhere north of 11.5% - hang in there, and treat your job search like an actual job. There are some companies hiring out there – not many true – but there are jobs to be found even if they are not considered your “dream job”. Get your foot in the door, prove what you are worth, and good things will happen for you.

To those of your fortunate enough to be able to spend money on your hobbies (cars, boats, etc.) we sincerely thank you for your continued support of Slowboy Racing Inc. We have been humbled over the past year and can tell you with certainty we are back to serve you the best way we can. We appreciate every customer who walks in, every customer who places orders on our website, and every customer who calls in and talks to our incredible sales staff (Thank you Marti, Joe, and Mario).

We have so many big things happening right now and are fortunate enough to be hiring two more people in February of 2010. I will make sure to give them a big welcome on the blog when they get in here and get settled in. I am also looking forward to writing this “blog” or “newsletter” once a week and look forward to your feedback. I hope everyone has had a good start to the new year – it feels amazing again to hit our sales goals (monthly) and be able to keep looking forward to dig out from 2009. Keep your heads up – and pedal down, good things are going to happen for you this year.
